02 Strictly necessary cookies
matflow uses the following strictly necessary or functional cookies: • mf-mode — stores your selected light or dark mode for up to one year • mf-locale — stores your selected language for up to one year • better-auth session cookie — keeps you signed in for up to 24 hours; in production its name may carry a __Secure prefix These cookies provide features you explicitly request and are not used for advertising or audience measurement. A consent banner is therefore not required.
03 Local storage (localStorage)
matflow also stores display, language, navigation and viewer preferences selected by you in your browser's localStorage. Examples include the colour scheme, light or dark mode, language, sidebar state and display preferences for the digital twin. This information generally remains on your device and is used to restore your personal workspace.
04 Managing cookies
You can review and delete cookies and localStorage data at any time in your browser settings. Deleting the session cookie will require you to sign in again; saved display and workspace preferences will return to their defaults.

You have the right to know why your personal data is needed, what happens to it and how long it is retained. You have the right to access, rectification, erasure and data portability. If you have given us consent to process your data, you have the right to withdraw that consent.
